Sales Terms and Policies
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These Sales Terms and Policies apply to purchases made through thegliderco.co.uk, operated by Ward Technologies Ltd, trading as The Glider Co.
1. About us
Ward Technologies Ltd
Company number: 17469821
Registered office: 38 Boughton Lane, Clowne, Chesterfield, S43 4JZ, UK
Email: wardtechnologiesltd@gmail.com
The Glider Co. sells 3D-printed sugar-glider toys and enrichment products.
2. Our products
Our products are 3D-printed in the UK and may be produced using PLA or PETG, depending on the product.
Products are designed for enrichment activities such as climbing, playing, digging and foraging.
Our products are not intended to be chew toys.
Colours may be selected on the product page where colour options are available. Colour choices do not change the product price unless stated otherwise.
Because our products are 3D-printed, minor variations in layer lines, surface finish or appearance may occur. These do not necessarily indicate a fault.
3. Made-to-order products
Our products are made to order.
We normally dispatch orders within 2–4 working days of receiving the order.
After dispatch, standard UK delivery is expected to take approximately 2–3 working days.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.
4. UK delivery
We currently ship to UK addresses only.
Delivery is charged at:
£2.50 per order + £0.50 per item
Orders may be sent using different delivery services arranged through Easyship.
The delivery service used may vary depending on the order and available shipping options.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£).
Ward Technologies Ltd is currently not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to our prices.
Payment is processed through Stripe.
Your order will only be processed after successful payment.
6. Placing an order
Before placing an order, please check that your product selection, colour choice, quantity and delivery details are correct.
Once an order has been placed, we will provide confirmation of the order.
If there is a genuine problem with an order, including an unavailable product or obvious pricing error, we may need to contact you to resolve the issue or provide a refund.
7. Cancellation and your legal rights
When you buy goods online, you generally have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without needing to give a reason.
This right applies separately from our voluntary returns policy and is not removed simply because a product is made to order.
To exercise your cancellation right, contact:
After notifying us that you are cancelling, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where you are cancelling because you have changed your mind, provided we told you about this responsibility before you placed your order.
8. Refunds for cancelled orders
Where a valid cancellation applies, we will refund the appropriate amount using the original payment method through Stripe.
We will normally refund the cost of the standard delivery option paid for with the order. We are not required to refund the additional cost of a more expensive delivery service where you selected one.
We may delay the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided suitable evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
Where goods have been handled more than reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, the amount refunded may be reduced to reflect any loss in value where permitted by law.
9. Returns address
Returns should be sent to:
The Glider Co.
6 Shawlands Mews
Recreation Close
Clowne
S43 4NY
UK
Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide any information needed to process the return.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If your product arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, contact us at:
Please provide your order details and, where useful, photographs of the problem.
Where a product does not meet your legal consumer rights, we will provide the appropriate remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
We will cover reasonable return postage costs where the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
11. Exchanges
We may provide exchanges as an alternative to a refund where appropriate.
For a change-of-mind exchange, the customer is responsible for returning the original item. We will normally cover the cost of sending the replacement item using our standard delivery method.
This does not affect your statutory cancellation and consumer rights.
12. Product safety
Our products are designed for enrichment and are not intended to be chewed or eaten.
For the safety of your pet:
Inspect the product before use.
Check the product regularly for damage or excessive wear.
Remove and replace the product if it becomes cracked, broken, severely worn or otherwise unsafe.
Supervise your pet when using new enrichment products.
Make sure the product is appropriate for your pet and enclosure.
PLA and PETG are used in our 3D-printed products, but no 3D-printed product should be treated as a food item or chew toy.
You are responsible for using the product appropriately and following any product-specific instructions provided on the website or with the order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Product reviews
Customers may be able to leave product reviews on our website.
Reviews may be displayed publicly with the name provided by the reviewer.
We may moderate, hide or remove reviews where they are inappropriate, offensive, misleading, fraudulent, irrelevant or otherwise unsuitable for publication.
We do not knowingly publish fake reviews or reviews presented as genuine customer experiences when they are not genuine.
14. Problems and complaints
If you have a problem with an order or our service, please contact:
We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
15. Our responsibility
We are responsible for providing goods that meet the rights and standards required by applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or reduce your legal rights.
We are not responsible for problems caused by misuse, inappropriate installation, failure to follow product instructions or continued use of a product after it has become visibly damaged, except where the law says otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Any updated terms will apply to future purchases and will not remove rights that already apply to an order you have placed.
17. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from a purchase are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Where applicable, you will retain any mandatory consumer rights and protections provided by the law that applies to you.
